I have injury and bye week problems this week and need to pick up a wr. The 2 players I can drop are Chris Brown or Brandon Jackson. I dont really want to drop either but I have to. I have Lendale White on my team so I kind of like having Brown in case something happens there and Jackson in GB hasnt been very good but still gets a decent amount of touches since GB doesnt have a true stud rb yet. Who has more value Brown or Jackson and which one would you drop? Thanks

I like keeping Brandon Jackson. Chris Brown has been reduced to a 3rd down back getting 10 carries a game and that should be that way unless Lendale goes down. Jackson is going to get at least 10 carries a game and should eventually get more when named the starter. Jackson has more upside.

Thanks Jake, I really dont want to drop either but I have to. I will drop Brown and try to pick him back up if i can. With injuries and bye weeks i cant afford to lose because im 1-2. I agree that Jackson has more upside but do you think Morency will take over when hes healthy?

5Star,

If you aren't worried that the guys you are planning to pick up may be scooped from you, wait until Sunday morning to make the pickups. This way no one will have the opportunity to pick up the guys you dropped as they won't clear waivers before the games start. Thus, they will go straight to the waiver wire for pickups next week. It doesn't guarantee you will get them back, but it does remove the ability of anyone else to pick them up this week. All of this assumes you have waivers.

Yes we have waivers thanks fhm... I had thought about that and that is good advice especially this week because im playing another team that is 1-2 and he has steven jackson who is out this week so he is desperate for a rb, so im sure he would pick up brown so i will drop him saturday or something... good input thanks bro

Tenn is on a bye this week so Brown won't do him any good. However, if you still want the guys, you should still wait until Sun morning. Don't do it on Sat, they may clear before the games start and you risk losing them.
